That’s a really good question. My role now doesn’t have a lot of fun findings- I work more on the testing methods than the catalysts. Back in my grad school days, I did some work with supersonic jet fuels that I got to explore some reactions that no one else had looked at. It was really interesting, especially since I got to use a scanning electron microscope, which I had never used before.
