Computational data is data that is processed or transformed some how to result in an outcome of another version of data. The term “computational” means it was processed using computer techniques. Data on the other hand can be a lot of things (raw files of data, software, code, video, 3D images, etc.). I view data as a currency of knowledge, and one of the most valuable things we can collect for new discoveries and informing scientists what is changing around us.
