      Fischer Esterification
An ester is generated from an alcohol and an carboxylic acid.
The starting materials smell awful like rancid butter/milk or dead fish and the final product smells like fruits such as pineapple, strawberry, or pears. The whole smell of the lab shifts at a certain point. It is a really neat reaction. Look it up!
