I needed to derive the equations to solve the problem I am working on. These equations are very long and hard to understand. It took me months to figure out how to proceed.

On the one hand, I would say the problem I was working on for my Ph.D, which was how to keep supersonic jet fuels from breaking down into solids at high temperatures. But I think the hardest I’ve ever studied (or found science) was my high school physics class. I found physics very difficult, partly because I lack common sense. (I did great with quantum physics though, which most people find very difficult.)

Learning to study was hard for me, but it was also very good for me. A lot of kids that find school easy can struggle with that, and I certainly did. But it’s something you really need to know how to do. So if you are someone that needs to work hard in school, don’t despair- those study skills you are learning now will really benefit you in the long run!

Physics- I had to study a lot for my physics classes in order to solve questions we were given in both lab and lecture.

Working in facilities I am required to know a little bit about all aspects of engineering but anything electrical I struggle with and generally have to seek help from my team or elsewhere.

Anything in Biochemistry. That is not my favorite science discipline.

My master thesis is probably the hardest thing that I have done. It was not only hard project, but also I need to deliver on time before my graduation.
